When I got the chance to play Twisted Metal: Black, I finally found out what I’d been missing out on. ![]() Those games were in The Need for Speed and Grudge Warrior games and, as you could probably guess, those weren’t the best examples I could have experienced for car combat games, but they were fun in their own rite. When I was younger, I had only a few games that even remotely fell in that category. The game will simply be unplayable from that day forward.Car combat titles are a bit of a peculiar genre from my own perspective. Twisted Metal will no longer be playable from October 15, and it will be playable offline. You simply won't be able to share your user-created levels or download any of them from others. Sound Shapes will be taken offline on October 15, but you will still be able to play the campaign and all DLC. Warhawk will be taken offline on October 25, and will no longer be playable unless your system is set to LAN mode.
